The Story of my famous "Pennant" goes back all the way to when I was a kid growing in Orange County, California. In short, I'm a big baseball fan (Angels fan to be specific) and I remember having many fabric baseball pennants all around my room of my favorite team. Now we jump to when I was attending Sonoma State in 2022, I was flunking and it came time to move out the dorm and I found my pennants in my pile of decorations in a box, almost having a flashback to being a kid again. I though of an idea of a pennant as a logo, but when I come up with ideas when I'm stressed or at the last minute. I moved back to Southern California at the end of July 2023 and I needed something to get my mind off the personal stress I was dealing with, when I thought of the pennant again and began working on sketches and ran the idea through my Adobe Illustrator program. On August 29,2023, my logo was born. It created more significance for me than I thought initially, as when you look at the shape, it's more than just an odd shaped triangle. It represents 3 places (Orange County, Ventura County, and NorCal), 3 styles (Realism, Minimalism, and Color Theory), and pointed up, signifying the goal of moving up as an artist and personally. It's a virtue for me to always be myself but always keep striving to strengthen myself as I live life and draw. It represents where it's gotten me as an artist and I only get stronger as I keep creating. It's the foreground for the City Connect and Ventura Pennants, hoping in the future it would create more.
